Meet the Airtable leadership team.
Howie serves as CEO and is responsible for Airtable’s overall direction and strategy. He co-founded the company in 2013 to share the magic of building software with more people. That original inspiration—formed by his own experience learning to code and building useful applications—continues to drive Airtable today. He remains passionate about pushing the product to serve an increasing expanse of needs across Airtable’s diverse customer base.
Andrew spearheads Airtable’s long-term product bets and represents the voice of the customer in major product decisions. After co-founding the company, he helped scale Airtable’s original product and engineering teams. He previously led the redesign of Google's flagship Maps product, and before that was a product manager for Android.
Emmett is a senior engineering leader who is responsible for designing Airtable’s technical architecture. Prior to co-founding the company, Emmett was a founding engineer of Stack Overflow, which he helped scale to hundreds of millions of users, and a software engineer at Microsoft.
Archana leads Airtable’s marketing organization to build awareness, drive demand, and loyalty across all channels. Archana previously served as Head of Enterprise and Cloud Marketing at Atlassian, where she led global marketing for all products and helped build and scale the company’s high-velocity, low-friction, online distribution model. She serves on the board of directors of MongoDB and Zendesk.
Peter is responsible for Airtable’s product, design, and insights teams. He previously served as Head of Rider at Uber, where he led development for the consumer experience. Peter spent nearly a decade at Facebook, where he led teams responsible for News Feed, Messenger, Groups, and Events. He then went on to serve as Instagram’s first head of product and later led product management at Oculus.
Raymond leads Airtable’s engineering and technical teams. He previously served as VP of Engineering at Facebook, launching Messenger and scaling the app to serve more than 1.3 billion people. Before Facebook, Raymond had a 20-year career building productivity products as an engineering leader at Microsoft.
Johanna leads Airtable’s people functions including recruiting, operations, and experiences. She previously served as Chief People Officer at Pure Storage and served on the board of the Pure Good Foundation. Prior to that, Johanna was Vice President, HR at LinkedIn, where she scaled the company to more than 10,000 people. Before then, she held talent management and business partnership roles at Microsoft, which also included international assignments in EMEA.
Seth leads Airtable’s customer facing teams including sales, customer success, partnerships, and support. He previously served as Chief Customer Officer at InVision, where he led the company’s customer-facing teams, and as Chief Revenue Officer at Wrike. Before that, he served as SVP of Sales and Support at LogMeIn, a pioneer in remote work technology.
Ambereen leads Airtable’s finance and legal teams. She previously served as CFO of Quibi and as operating partner and CFO of media and technology holding company WndrCo. Her career spans multiple investing roles as partner and portfolio manager at JMB Capital, Ivory Capital Management, and Empyrean Capital Partners. She previously focused on software investment banking at Goldman Sachs.
